Charlie came over for some dinner and he made me some some scrumptious rabbit stew. Thanks. He is a handsome buzzard, no?

Do you like my new red hair. Dyed it myself. What do you all think? Should I stay a red head?

Whenever I see a post from Charlie, I always think COWBOY. maybe because I see Texas in his signature line? Hmmmm. Whenever I see Just Don post, I think FARMER. Midwestern farmer.

Anyone that has had anything to do with horses or cows is right up my alley. I love a man who knows his animals.

Charlie, when I got up this morning, I had 2 emails, but the subject lines were not crystal clear to me (heck, I haven't had any coffee yet either!).

Anyway, both were from the same email address, but one subject line was "me" and the other subject line was "Just Don".

I just replied (with 2 photos of myself!) thinking that both photos were of the same person and I thought that person was Just Don, because well, that was one of the subject lines in one of the emails, and at this hour, I'm lucky I know how to turn on the coffeemaker!

Anyhoo, was one photo of you (Charlie) and the other of Just don? If so, that makes sense now, because the 2 men on the different photos do NOT look alike, even if you shaved off the facial hair from one of them! [bonk]

So, my email to you will sound a little funny, but now I'm guessing you (Charlie) sent me 2 emails, one with a photo of yourself, and one with a photo of Just Don. See now, I can figure this all out by myself, just given a little time, and effort.

Where were these taken at? Were you both at the same place?

Acorn, can you still zipper up your magic stretchy squirrel suit with the OVER abundance of acorns that we're having right now?

At least in California, it's been raining acorns for weeks now. I can sweep my backyard concrete patio twice a day, and still walk out an hour later and go "skating" on all the acorns that dropped between sweepings! I hear it's something called a "mast year" where the oak trees were panicking over the weather (dry?, global warming?) and thought by overproducing their acorn crop, they were going to make sure there'd be oak trees in our future. Happens every 4-10 years. Pretty sure that's what the news said about it.

Not sure if it's just in California or not---are you all fat and sassy if you've got extra extra amounts of acorns dropping in your neck of the woods? [Big Grin]

Well, they're much bigger in Texas and have bald heads. Charlie is a Texas buzzard!! But he's not bald, so maybe this pic is a good match! [Big Grin]

Here's one:

http://www.google.com/search?sourceid=navclient&ie=UTF-8&rls=GGLR,GGLR:2006-24,GGLR:en&q=turkey+vulture

Looks like the ones I've seen in TX.

I thought Charlie was a tuna? Sorry Charlie.

Lymetoo those are not as good looking as my common buzzard. Anyway, I'm sure Charlie is the best looking Turkey Vulture in Texas.

Acorn, I was really surprised to see the "common buzzards" listed as buteos, or hawks. When I saw the pic, I thought "that's a hawk."

The buzzards here in MO are also like the ones in Texas.

Where's Charlie??

Sorry to be a dollar short and a dime 'late' in this convo.

I just found a pic of Just Julie in my e-mail. SHE really made a mistake in her name.

Shoulda used the name ,,,JUST BEATIFUL!!! IF you ever see a beautiful lady on the streets and malls,,,changes are it MUST be Julie!!!

Charlie IS one handsome bird. He is as pretty on the inside as ever!! Same way with JENNY,,,they make quite a pair to draw to.

Its more important to be pretty on the inside than out,,,but when you have them BOTH going for you,,,made in the shade,,,which is where you found Charlie, behind shades!!

I think we NEED more pics of the major players here. Even the newbies unlike--just don--

Aw shucks, Just Don, yore makin' me blush now and all! [kiss]

I thank you kindly for the complements on my photo. Everytime I see you post on your "girls" I get a big ole' grin on my face, because I can tell you have a big heart. Any man that can deal with large animals and talk about them in the manner you do is a winner in my book!

Sorry to have mistook you and Charlie for the same person, I was without coffee (wc) at that point in the morning, and should've known better than to try and read emails and make sense of them at that hour!
