My name is Steve White and I have been battling Lyme Disease for many years now.
It took 18 years and 19 Doctors before I was diagnosed and by then I had accumulated a lot of damage to the point of disability.
I have all the same symptoms that I'm sure you have all heard before, so I won't waste your time with listing them here.
I have been on anti biotics going on seven years now but had to stop in June because I ended up in the Hospital with Pancreatitus. My Gastroenterologist said it was because of the Hydroxychloroquine I was taking with the Biaxin so I had to stop.
However I have just communicated with my Lyme Doctor and have started a different anti biotic, 500 mg Azithromycin. I also take with that 200 mg Amantadine. And it's very rough right now anyhow as I just started these a few days ago.
I'll stop here so you won't have too long of a post to read. I don't know about you but reading is very hard for me.
Thanks for reading and I'll be back when I can.
Steve

Hi Rhonda
Thanks for the welcome.
As far as improvement goes, it's up and down. I always think I'm not improving till I go off the anti biotics for a while. Then I do see how much they help.

Hi Sarah
Thank you.
Like I said, I'm still fighting it and now my Lyme Doctor thinks I've had it since I was a child. So it's going to be a tough battle but I will never give up!

I LOVED your songs, Steve. My husband is a woodwinds player and plays professionally.
I'll send you a link to some of his music.
I REALLY LOVED "O Holy Night"...very nicely done!!
Hello!
Well, thank you very much for your kind words on my music. I played everything on all the songs but "O Holy night" On that one I just sang and a good friend of mine from Vermont did the instruments.
Sure! Send me the link, I'm always open to listening to new musicians and like all kinds of music.
Is ther a problem with posting a link in here? I was not aware of that so if that is the case, please let me know and I'll remove it.

Welcome MusicMan. O Holy Night is my favorite Christmas song and you did a great version with that. It brings me such great feelings of hope for myself and the world at peace.

Hi Pam
Hey, thank you!
It's my favorite too and I'm glad I got to sing this one.
I also removed the pay option for my songs so they are now free.

Hi Julie
Thank you for listening and I'm really glad it made you feel better.
Just some quick background on my songs.
It takes me a long time to record them because I have to lay down a lot while I'm recording. So I'll do a Piano part and then go rest. And sort of like that for a song. Other days are better but still a lot of work for a Lyme person.
I have written over 200 songs so as I finish recording a new one I add it to my site.
Thanks again, I really appreciate it!

A few days late and a few computer questions later...
Hi and Welcome, Steve!
I hope the new meds help. Zith has a half life not much shorter than uranium 238. (Really... about 3 days, so it does tend to build up quickly in your system.) I hope you're feeling better soon.
