I am sick of sick! I have neurolyme and have this real scary feeling in my chest sometimes like you want to jump out of your skin. What is this feeling??? I have so many symptoms and pain, but this feeling that is like chills and scary in my chest is driving me nuts. Has anyone had this and what is it please.

Jayne, I thought at first you were describing panic attacks, but as I read on in your post I'm not so sure.
Hopefully someone will relate and help you feel less frightened by this symptom. Scarey feeling and jumping out of your chest? Is there actual jumping in your chest?
I had a panic attack once when I started some new meds and it freaked me out. I called the dr's office and described how I felt and they told me the meds can cause panic attack symptom for a couple days and disappear.
I had no clue what a panic attack was until then. Thank goodness I've never experienced that again.

What do you mean by chills in the chest? I had a thudding in mine and a jumpy feeling sorta like a panic attack. But it turned out to be a blocked artery, the doctors found it when I had a heart attack at the age of 38. That was last year, and I still get the jumpy feelings. Let me know if you ever find out what it is.

This sounds to me like your neurolyme is causing your muscles around your rib cage to "vibrate" or twitch, probably coupled w/anxiety. Does this sound right?
