My family is out Christmas shopping at Wal-mart for me. I asked for really loose socks because my neuropathy is still killing me. I am in one of those crying moods where I want my life back!

I layed in bed when I came home from my IV and watched Walk the Line about Johnny Cash. I think I am stuck in the Ring of Fire song he sings about..I am not even joking..sad part. [bonk]

I know it is the end of week 4 for IV Rocephin and I need to be patient. This has never been one of my assets [Smile] I just seem to be having one of those great painful days with jaw pain, fire, pain all over, and depression. What a great disease!

Monica

I know -- it sucks. Hang in there...

I really liked your Dr J letter to the governor. How personal can you get when you say you're both in the same neighborhood and there's ticks?!

Thanks Robin...let us both hope it makes her think. I am okay...I just have horrible bouts of despair every once in a while.

I still think they should walk into the meetings this week with T-shirts saying...We are TICKED OFF About LYME. [Smile]

Monica,

I am so very sorry that you are suffering so much pain and depression.

I know what it is like to feel that one's body is on fire and to cry in extreme pain and despair at not knowing if it will stop.

All that I can tell you is that that pain did stop for me, thanks to my wonderful LLMDs. I know that many others have also had the same successful result with adequate treatment. Everyone is different in terms of time that it requires.

Very best wishes!
