Hello everyone
I have not been back on in awile since my son Adam's dery very hard toath.
I want to thank everyone for all the hartfelt support of our family through miss tick and all the replys to the post of Adam's death .
I have tried to read each and every one many from old friends and some new one's
I find it verry hard to read all the kind words without crying uncontrolably.
Adam,s death was caused by a Dr who perscribed the wrong medication's and the wrong diagnosis .
He did not even look at adams past with lyme disease and gave him medications that had a very bad effect on Adam.
I can only express to other Fathers and Mothers of teen's with a history of Lyme disease in there children to watch for aggression or mood swings and do not let any Dr tell you its by polar or ADHD.
The Medications that them have the very opposite effect on teens with Lyme disease .
I do not know what the correct answer is to this problem all I know is what's not the correct answer do to my Son's death .
Again Thank you all for your support and in time I will try to become a more active member here again Timothy Rowett

Timothy, thank you for coming back and updating us on how YOU are doing on your deep loss of your beloved son Adam.

Thank you for the warning to parents of TEENS ... when I broke yours up for easier reading for us neuro lymies to comprehend .. I left extra space there so parents could spend time reading that powerful paragraph from YOUR PLEA TO THEM.

May God continue to comfort you each day, month, and years to come. [group hug] [kiss]

Thanks, Tim, and great to hear from you. As the parent of a teen with Lyme, your words add to my confidence in the treatment option we chose. More than once, I was told that we should be going a different way.

Take care,
Shaz

Tim, thank you for returning here and sharing your story and your grief with us

Allow us to share some of your grief and hopefully provide a bit of relief to you and your family

I can only imagine how hard it is for you to do this

Our thoughts and prayers are with you always

May the angels and higher beings take your son under their wings and keep him in a special place

I pray things will get better for you and yours as time goes by

His lagacy is already at work, helping those of us who are parents by your warnings of what to watch for, even as sad and difficult as that is

God bless you Tim

Until that day

JayG

Here is a list of meetings in New Jersey.

You need not walk alone.
