I just want to suggest that people do not try this without talking to their doctor. Most doctors choose an abx dose based on the patient's reaction to other drugs and the patient's weight. You may not actually want to inrease the dose.

Interesting. My husband drinks at least 3 cups of green tea a day. He gave up coffee and still needs something hot to drink.

With Lyme I had much trouble with digestion and G.I. At one point, Green tea was very helpful to soothe stomach and bowels. I was on 'biaxin' at the time, along with massive amounts of amox. To a certain extent I had a continuous "herx" going, during those days. But I don't recall that the green tea made it worse; in any case it had a very good effect on my digestion, so was definitely worthwhile. (very good tasting, too). Another thing- it definitely didn't make "the ...'biaxin'.. runs" worse... DaveS

Ah-just noticed one difference- mine was organic 'choice' brand, made at home, standard, not "double"-- that could be a factor. ds
