This is the first Chat site i have ever logged into and by reading the information the reason i did was to become part of this organization of people fighting everyday as i am to beat lyme disease. I am lucky it has only been 7 months for me but that is 7 months to long. I am here to listen talk take advise or give any i might have. Just bare with me i have no idea what i am doing. Of course it is 12:00 midnight part of the lymes very hard to sleep at anytime.

welcome nc to the board! glad you found us!

i read elsewhere you're going to SC's dr. j in may; and doing iv.

i have MORE names of llmds in case you want to check this out; sorry, but from what i've been reading here ... his prices are outragious since NC health dept. messed w/his medical license there and all the hearings he had!

just send me a PM, 2 people standing together; i don't know about IV, but there are others in NC; plus 2 really good ones in midwest:

springfield, missouri and louisiana !!
**************************************

WELCOME, would you like a FREE copy of my newbie package of 118 pages info galore sent by a PRIVATE MESSAGE here; includes TREEPATROL'S LINK of his archive of over 1000 links of good lyme info?

I've been completely REORGANIZING it; NOT DONE YET; but up to page 60 since I have now created a TABLE OF CONTENTS WITHOUT PAGE NUMBERS since it changes DAILY! The part NOT organized yet is the last 30 pages of SSDI, ss disability insurance benefits tips/forms!

also, please go to TREEPATROL'S NEWBIE INFO IN MEDICAL; at top being features; mark it as a favorite! over 1000 links of good lyme info. He/I have some duplicates.

most of mine is very DETAILED info on certain things: SSDI/ss diability insurance benefits; FINANCIAL BURDENS; about IGENEX blood testing, symptoms lists for the basic types, NOIR/no infrared SUNGLASSES, etc. and how to use this board!

If you would like my newbie package, please send me a PRIVATE MESSAGE. PMs are the 2 people standing together icon to right of your name. Just ask me to send you lyme package, and I'll get it to you promptly. Thank you!

Welcome to the board! Read away and ask questions when you need. We are all here to offer our advice and support.

Just remember that we are not doctors (most of us) and cannot give medical advice. We share our experiences so other patients can learn from them.

Thanks guys for responding. I do know Dr. J is very expensive maybe more than what i thought looking at some of the messages. If there was a garantee and i could get back to my life with my boys and school i would pay any amount but i know there are no garantees i have definatly learned that.

Welcome!!! We're glad to have you! I hope we can help you and that you can help us!!

Sounds good to ME!! [Smile]

When you learn your way around, you'll see that general stuff goes here on this forum, and fun off topic stuff goes in Off Topic.

Medical in Medical ... [lol]

Don't ignore the Seeking a Doctor forum, because you may be able to help someone there with info on drs in your area.

Check each forum daily if you can! Don't want to miss anything!! [Big Grin]
