I was just thinking how great it would be if I could afford to attend some of the protests going on but unfortunately it is out of the question right now. Many of us are mad at the infectious disease doctors that told us we were fine because we tested negative for lyme on their crappy western blots. Many of us did test positive after many years of suffering. So....in protest, what if we send a copy of all of our Positive Western Blots and long sad stories to some of the bigger hospitals Infectious Disease Dept. Directors so they got a huge amount of mail from us lymies all at once. so we can target them one at a time. Just a thought.....The more we can raise hell the better. Mayo Clinic anyone?
Let me know what you think. Ruth

You would have to make sure no LLMD's names are on them.
I like the idea though.....they would probably have some lame excuse.

Good for you! Got your thinking cap on!!!
I am concerned a bit though.. like G said... it is because of that specific piece of paper. It could cause problems for patients and/or labs and our doctors.
And since the IDSA obviously has members who can't read... or won't read and think... maybe something simpler to get the point across?
Ok.. how about this...
We each draw a picture of a BIG tick on a post card. Easy enough... big circle, eight legs and a head.
You can buy post office plain white cards already stamped for less than it costs to print up something, use an envelope and put postage on it.
Or a regular post card with your state name on it... whatever.
We then send them to ...
Let me check on this idea and get back to you.
But you are on the right track!!! We need more action and this could be a grand plan.. one that even kids can do!
