Doctors in my part of the state in Wisconsin are not very familiar with lyme disease. One told me that I could exercise up to 2 hours a day and another told me I should not exercise while taking this medicine. Any information would be helpful. Also, if you are familar with good doctors regarding lyme disease in Wisconsin I would appreciate that information.

Exercise.....Be very careful about being out in the sun while on doxy.
Exercise is good, however, you need to start light and maybe work your way up.
Walking for 30 minutes is what I've done, but I had to start at 5 and work my way up.
Be careful not to overdo as you will pay for it dearly the next day.
Hugs,

Countdown -- If you decide to exercise, there is a Hikers/Walkers/Movers thread here in General Support that you are welcome to join. It is a group of Lymies that are incorporating exercise as part of their healing.
Some people on the thread are just beginning to move, while others are regular exercisers. The purpose of the group is to support and encourage each other.
Hope to see you there.
