how awesome. i'd forgotten. several months ago when frantic on flagyl, i dug up my whole front lawn down to the dirt and planted herbs galore to replace grass, forever. for the past few days i have literally been reaping the rewards- fresh basil, thyme (several kinds), chives, chamomile, rosemary, sage (several kinds), oregano, artesiminin... wow. Still waiting on the St John's wort.... over on the side of the herbs grow pumpkins. right smack on the front lawn! i;m fortunate to live in a 100% progressive neighborhood- no one flinched when the dirt and pumpkins appeared. meanwhile, ooh la la for cooking fresh form my own garden. will be much more ambitious next year... dill (which i have yet to grow)

Hey Dilly, What a good idea! Less grass to mow! -------------------- Do not take this as medical advice. This comment is based on opinion and personal experience only. Alaska Lone Wolf
