Hmmmm, I feel better today (because I didn't have any Biaxin/Mepron for a day because I was out of Biaxin, which also happens to make me excruciatingly tired).
The first thing I thought of was "Yippee! I'm not tired! I'm going to go work a really long day and be productive!!!"

Other goals: -get back to martial arts and start competing -work 12-hour days. Ooops, that's not a very healthy one. But it's what I'd rather be doing right now. I'm sure that's true of a lot of y'all.

I want to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Had to quite when I got sick. Miss being able to learn, concentrate, focus, remember and just think clearly in general.
Get a better paying job and be able to work full time.
Be able to spend more time with my friends. Date, get married, start a family.
I want to volunteer again. Before I got sick I was volunteering at least 3x per week. I also want to do medical missions work overseas again. I really really miss being able to do these things. I like helping others.
I look forward to being well again and to living more. I'm grateful to be alive Posts: 5237 | From here | Registered: Nov 2007

goodness, doing hobbies. That one just occurred to me as something I'd have energy to do once I get through the massive backlog of Things Hanging Over Me Because I Can't Work A Normal Day.
quilting.
building some kind of custom car.
woodworking.

I want to go further down the forest trail that I use to walk 5 or 10 min.
I would like to walk at least a mile a day.
I also would like to travel to the National Parks.
And visit TuTu and Just Don and melanie and ...darn can't recall her name right now and others.
I would like to combine my love for ASL, Nature and Teaching and God somehow.

Go to bed at a regular time and get up at a regular time.
Visit people.
Hey Maria, grab onto the little opportunities and enjoy 'em!

I'm with Robin. Plus read in bed before nodding off.
And go to my old stomping grounds in San Luis Obispo and visit many of my favorite places and eat at many of my favorite restaurants.

Go swimming in a mountain lake and have it all to myself like I did while camping at Lassen National Park.

I didn't jog before getting lyme symptoms and cannot jog right now because of the swollen and painful knee. So when I better, I'm going to walk, jog, ride a bike, just be overall more mobile than I was before.

Since I have had symptoms from childhood which turned worse at the age of 24, I don't really know what better is.
Better than it is right now?
It is better than 6 years ago, when most days were spent in bed.
So I guess I am better.
But to be truly healthy? Now that is a thought.
I have never experienced it, what would I do with all the time not being sick or taking care of sick family members.
I could pursue anything and probably would.
There would be no limits since the last 40 odd years have had too many limitations.

I'd like to get my business up and running again. Or maybe a different business. Who knows?
What I really want is to feel productive. Working, bringing in an income, contributing to the household, etc.
We don't just need this financially. I NEED it to feel like a whole person again.

Go on a vacation with my husband.
Get back into painting. It's hard to be creative when you feel like crap.
Spend time with friends.
That's my top three. I'll stop now because this list is endless...
