Note that the question is 'when' , not 'if'. You will.

So... what are you planning on doing when you're better?

I'm planning on giving coffee a swift kick in the pants. Never going to see that stuff again. I swear.

There's a few other fun ideas. Not being dependent on coffee is one I think I'll really enjoy.

Hmmmm, I feel better today (because I didn't have any Biaxin/Mepron for a day because I was out of Biaxin, which also happens to make me excruciatingly tired).

The first thing I thought of was "Yippee! I'm not tired! I'm going to go work a really long day and be productive!!!"

Other goals:
-get back to martial arts and start competing
-work 12-hour days. Ooops, that's not a very healthy one. But it's what I'd rather be doing right now. I'm sure that's true of a lot of y'all.

I want to go back to school to become a Nurse Practitioner. Had to quite when I got sick. Miss being able to learn, concentrate, focus, remember and just think clearly in general.

Get a better paying job and be able to work full time.

Be able to spend more time with my friends. Date, get married, start a family.

I want to volunteer again. Before I got sick I was volunteering at least 3x per week. I also want to do medical missions work overseas again. I really really miss being able to do these things. I like helping others.

I look forward to being well again and to living more. I'm grateful to be alive [Smile]

I want to go further down the forest trail that I use to walk 5 or 10 min.

I would like to walk at least a mile a day.

I also would like to travel to the National Parks.

And visit TuTu and Just Don and melanie and ...darn can't recall her name right now and others.

I would like to combine my love for ASL, Nature and Teaching and God somehow.

My first two:

Go to bed at a regular time and get up at a regular time.

Visit people.

Hey Maria, grab onto the little opportunities and enjoy 'em!

I'm with Robin. Plus read in bed before nodding off.

And go to my old stomping grounds in San Luis Obispo and visit many of my favorite places and eat at many of my favorite restaurants.

I would like to wake up and not think " another day with lyme".

That alone would be a blessing.

All the rest I'll think about later.

Best to all of you wishful thinkers, hoping that it is soon our realities.

Take my little girl to Sea World. We've been counting down until we're both well enough to go.

Then I'd like to drink a nice frosty mug of Bud Light. [Big Grin] or two...

I didn't jog before getting lyme symptoms and cannot jog right now because of the swollen and painful knee. So when I better, I'm going to walk, jog, ride a bike, just be overall more mobile than I was before.

Gather a jar full of ticks and light them on fire! [Cool]

Getting better is an interesting thought.

I often wonder what it is really like.

Since I have had symptoms from childhood which turned worse at the age of 24, I don't really know what better is.

Better than it is right now?

It is better than 6 years ago, when most days were spent in bed.

So I guess I am better.

But to be truly healthy? Now that is a thought.

I have never experienced it, what would I do with all the time not being sick or taking care of sick family members.

I could pursue anything and probably would.

There would be no limits since the last 40 odd years have had too many limitations.

I'd like to get my business up and running again. Or maybe a different business. Who knows?

What I really want is to feel productive. Working, bringing in an income, contributing to the household, etc.

We don't just need this financially. I NEED it to feel like a whole person again.

In no particular order:

Drink margaritas. Emphasis on the plural.

Eat chocolate chip cookie dough.

Go for a long run.

Write a book (or two).

Go back to work.

Continue educating and contributing when and where I can about Lyme.

Never, ever take a "good" health day for granted again. [shake]

Get back into painting. It's hard to be creative when you feel like crap.

Spend time with friends.

That's my top three. I'll stop now because this list is endless... [Wink]
