Personally...I would not disclose the nature of her illness to the school. Our disease is controversal and some do not believe in chronic Lyme or prolonged treatment. It's no one else's business exactly what illness she is suffering from. They need only know it is not contagous. I would protect her from scrutiny. IMO -p

I'm not clear, are you thinking of telling the preschool teachers? If you and she have a diagnosis from a healthcare professional, go ahead and tell them. They can't get you in trouble if you're following your doctor's advice.
If Lyme is affecting her (or your) ability to deal with the preschool, then they already know something is not right. You can tell them how Lyme might affect your family, and they can compensate and make it easier on your child.
They also might wind up seeing Lyme in other children, so they get diagnosed and treated, too.

I welcome every opportunity to share my experience and Lyme.
Verbally that is.
If you think it will affect your involvement with the school,
Or affect when and if you can bring her,
Or think she will be telling people about all the "pills" her Mommy and Daddy take,
Then I would share it.
Just remember to tell others that it is not contagious.
Hugs,
