I saw the LLMD, "Dr. M", for the first time. It went really great, she is very smart and knows so much and I took lots of notes but now that I read them they don't make much sense...
Even thought I tested CDC positive for lyme, I still cried when she confirmed it.
I was also speechless after Dr. M read some of the other blood tests from my HMO doctor. I have a pretty good case of candida. I mean, how did I miss that on the test result sheet? More important, how did the doctor miss that!! Why didn't this get addressed? I shot an e mail to her and I'm waiting for a reply.
I am thinking of switching doctors on my health plan....This is hard because I have to start all over again... It's all so very frustrating!
I have to address the candida issue before Dr. M starts me on abx. She did start me on teasel for the time being. We will see if this helps. I've read up on this and looked on the boards here at lymenet.
About 2 hours before my appt. with Dr. M, our 16 year old cat, who is so sweet and still very alert and playful, started howling, throwing up and urinating blood.
This is the third time this year that we've had to deal with urinary tract problems. It cost us $300 bucks today for her. Plus the $$ I had to pay to see the lyme doc....
Well, it's 2:30 am. I couldn't sleep. I had a bad dream about my cat. I guess I must be stressed out....It was a very expensive day and I have been worried about my little kitty. She seems to be sleeping well and I'm the one up....uggg
Happy thanksgiving all

Sounds like you had quite a day. Sorry for the diagnoses, but I'm glad you saw a doctor who will give you the treatment you need.
Sorry about your cat, too. I hope she gets better.
