So.....around this time last year...January 2008...I was diagnose for the second time with Lyme.... I may have been re-bit.... not sure.... it may just be old Lyme coming back for a second appearance...
I was first diagnose in the early 90's with Lyme .....treated for years...and then had some good years with no antibiotics...
Back then I had no support system...I knew no one that had Lyme...and no way of reaching out to anyone that did have it.... ... think about that for a second....no LymeNet
... I just couldn't believe all of the support that was out there for me this time around....AND at my finger tips!!!....
Your support and encouragement got me through a very difficult year..... You gave me strength, comfort, and hope....and even some chuckles .....thank you...
I am grateful for this web site...I am grateful for all of you........
So...even though 2008 was filled with pain and suffering.... I was not alone in my fight this time like I was in the 90`s...
....you all helped make it a good year...I couldn't have imagined going through it without you.....
Happy New Year to all of you on LymeNet!! and again thank you...

Being diagnosed last year, I still feel like this disease is somewhat arcaeic, like it is too complex for the medical field to figure out, so they don't!!
But, I do really, really like this site!!
