So.....around this time last year...January 2008...I was diagnose for the second time with Lyme.... I may have been re-bit.... not sure.... it may just be old Lyme coming back for a second appearance... [bonk]

I was first diagnose in the early 90's [Eek!] with Lyme .....treated for years...and then had some good years with no antibiotics...

Back then I had no support system...I knew no one that had Lyme...and no way of reaching out to anyone that did have it.... [shake] ...
think about that for a second....no LymeNet [toilet]

... I just couldn't believe all of the support that was out there for me this time around....AND at my finger tips!!!.... [woohoo]

Your support and encouragement got me through a very difficult year.....
You gave me strength, comfort, and hope....and even some chuckles [Big Grin]
.....thank you...

I am grateful for this web site...I am grateful for all of you........ [bow]

So...even though 2008 was filled with pain and suffering.... I was not alone in my fight this time like I was in the 90`s...

....you all helped make it a good year...I couldn't have imagined going through it without you.....

Happy New Year to all of you on LymeNet!!
and again thank you...

[group hug] mtree

people's lyme web sites they've created

continuous lyme activism
lyme conferences ... state and nationwide

i'm so glad you have received everything you need THIS TIME AROUND! best wishes on getting you into remission! [group hug] [kiss]

I'm right there with you. Diagnosed in the 90's and after long battle finally received treatment. Now a new battle. The information available and the support from our community is almost overwhelming. Thanks!

So, there are some improvements??

Being diagnosed last year, I still feel like this disease is somewhat arcaeic, like it is too complex for the medical field to figure out, so they don't!!

But, I do really, really like this site!!
