Seeing Dr. L in Armonk in January.

Not looking for anything fancy just something clean that won't break the bank.

I see there are some hotels in surrounding towns but I am not familiar with the traffic patterns and am unsure which is my best bet for making an 8am appointment.

lil...

I just contacted NY folks in hopes of getting some sort of suggestion.

Will let you know if I hear back.

If nothing else comes through... call the office and ask the kind folks working there if they know of a place. The question must have come up before in the past, as many folks see him and come from a long distance to do so.

If you have a car, Armonk is within a 20 minute drive or so (give or take 10 minutes depending on traffic, weather, etc.) of White Plains.
You might want to check out hotels there too.

Lilblue,

I don't know the area per se, but know that I too travel to see my LLMD and always looking for 'bargains' for lodging.

Have you considered bidding on a place at Priceline?

You won't be able to pick the exact hotel, but you can pick the location and star quality you want and quite often you can bid about 1/2 price on what they have the going rate as being and you can get a room.

More bang for your buck so to speak. We all pay enough for our LLMD's and treatment that anytime we can save some money, it feels good.

Coming from the north, perhaps there might also be places to stay in Mt. Kisco,NY. It is one exit BEFORE the exit for Armonk on route 684 going south.

'La Quintas' motel in Armonk- which is only about two miles away from the office.

We see Dr. L too, I sent a PM regarding hotels in the area. Best of luck to you. Dr. L is the best LLMD in the country, hands down. So thorough and complete. He has been a godsend for our family and I hope he is for you too. Best of health in 09!

thank you all for your input.
I was able to get a hotel in Mt. Kisco, which I'm told is 10-15 minutes from the office. [Smile]
