I'll be 52 on the 17th.
And truly, with Lyme, I feel like every birthday special. =)
When I hit 40 I was just glad I made it. And to be in my 50s and finally know after 25 years that it's Lyme I'm infected with, and I have a Dr. that knows what she's doing!! I am blessed!!

Toots, my lymie will be 22 on Feb 2. She is a groundhog. She usually goes to see Octoraro Orphie but hasn't planned for Monday yet.

For all of you that like Phil, he is predated by Orphie. It is always a good excuse for the groundhogs to get plastered so it is good that she is female and it is an all boys club. lmt

Lyme is like the flu. You can get it and recover, but you can always get it again.

48 February 9th.
this is a special one because maybe this year will be the year that I kick Lyme's butt and uncover any other infections that are keeping me from being well. I told myself when I was first sick that I would never forget what feeling good feels like and wil1 keep trying to get that same feeling back again! Who's with me?

And of course this birthday is special because I am going to eat whatever I want to and not care about the yeasties or whatever else! at least for a day!

Mine's the 18th. It's a doozy -- the big four-oh (40).

There was a time when I wasn't convinced I'd see this one. Of course that was just before my Lyme diagnosis. Time to celebrate!

Happy Birthday everyone.

Allie
