Anyone else wake up this way??

I have noticed that every morning for the last year or so I wake up counting down to when I can go back to bed!

This is such an awful way to be. I watch the clock all day and figure out how many hours until I can go to sleep.

No naps for me, I have 3 children one who is very ill and disabled, plus I actually feel worse when I wake up from a nap......

Just wanted to vent for a minute! [Smile]

Hi Erika,

I want to say, I think that too. I am sorry that you are going through this and have young children. That has too be very hard. It is a new meaning to " I can't wait until this day is done?"

I also am deaf in one ear. I have lots of weird noises in that ear. Yes, other horrible symptoms too.

Kindly,
barb

Hi Erika,

I have done the same thing. Sometimes I like it when I sleep in and I have even fewer hours until I can go to sleep again! I too have 3 kids (ages 2, 5 and 7), but none are disables, but I feel that my 7 year old has lyme for sure, we are getting him tested tomorrow.

Take care,
Ocean

I do the same thing and I don't have small children. I start my countdown around 4 in the afternoon.

Yes, I go through this too.

I have 2 young children, one of whom does not typically sleep through the night. So of course, who has to get up with him?

Even when I try to nap during the day I often can't sleep more than 10 minutes.

I am soooo tired, but I just can't stay asleep.

I'm that way at night, too, even when the kids sleep. Oftentimes, when I'm just drifting off again, my son wakes up yelling.

I agree with you that it's really a sad way to think. I've answered polls on Yahoo! Answers about your favorite time of day. It's sad to keep answering "bedtime."
