I have been diagnosed with Lyme and I like to weightlift. Barbells, dumbbells etc. with heavy weights. Sometimes it's the only thing that takes my mind off of it. Are there any issues with it that anybody knows of?

No, it is actually very good for you. Getting oxygen to the muscles helps fight off the lyme. I am glad you feel well enough to exercise.

Agree with Need, exercise is good. And the type you are doing is even better. Aerobic can cause some to feel worse. So stick with the weights as you enjoy them!

Awesome thanks. Some days it's a struggle but I force myself to go because when I'm there I feel better and I don't think about anything. I always feel better after I leave. Whether it's mental or physical I'll take it either way.
