I am new to the board and amazed at the wealth of information here - as well as how large the community is.
I am just starting my journey whereas so many of you have been living with Lyme for so long.
I see a LLMD for the first time in about a month - a victory in this 5 year journey of figuring out what is going on and that it is not 'just in my head'...
I wanted to give a big thanks for those who have been advocates for Lyme sufferers all of these years; even as they themselves suffered. Whether it is information shared here, or with a neighbor or with a friend, it is all important
Without that effort many of us, like myself, would be in a different place - personally it was through forums and neighbors that I finally awakened to the possibility that I might have Lyme a few months back.
It turned a downward spiral into hope.
So thank you again for all of your advocacy - it is well appreciated and has surely made a difference to many people.

Welcome ken!
You are right, the people here are amazing and soooooo helpful and supportive!
I've only been treating for 8 weeks, but there are some really experienced people here that work tirelessly for the entire Lyme community.
Hope your treatment goes well!

And if you say it again I'll knock you in the noggin with my cane!
How do you like them apples?
And welcome to kens! What a nice introduction... and kind words you have for this happy LymeNet family. Thank you.
And I agree.. they are great, aren't they?
Nice to know you have answers and are getting help from a LLMD... and that you decided to join us.
I know it takes new folks a while to speak up.... and some never do.. they just read. But glad you took that leap!
And don't mind TuTu. She is a dear.. we all love her..
BUT.. she is kinda weird. Ya think?
But me? I am totally sane... no matter what the others say.

Thanks for the replies and kind words as well.

Goodness!
Maybe kensadams thinks we are all a bunch of voyeurs,
Exhibitionists, and cane wielding mature women.
Not me. I just have exclusive rights to the "Cabana boy".
Welcome to the board.
This site and the people on it saved my life.
I would not be here today if not for this site and the people on it.
Glad you found us. So many here dedicate so much
Of their lives to helping others.
I thank God every day for every one of them.
Hugs,
Geneal
