Sorry have not been around here for some time now but have been dealing with my own problems.
Seems that my Neck and Head pains have been giving me lots of trouble and it truly has been hard to do just about anything.
So I have been doing lots of therapy and taking lots of medication.
My Lyme doc took me off the antibiotics since he feels two months was enough and my tests are now coming back negative.
Though my symptomps still exist.
I also went through some more blood work by my LLMD and a few other doctors and they are all confused at my certain levels of various things which are way off the charts...
So all that and depression kinda kept me away and I did not want to trouble yall with my own set of still unknown problems.
I will be back here again and hope to see you all soon.
By the way, I have been taking lots of activism in the Change.org. web site and added some very important issues for us all and also had revised my original Lyme Disease Epidemic letter and added a much later date for it to go on so more can join and take part...
Glad to see over 1000 people already had signed up for it and had sent it out.
So our voices are being heard.
Be back here soon again as my pain and depression permits.
I will also post some links to the New Important Actions I have started there.
You all have a very good night.
And ofcourse thanks a bunch to you all for your great support when I needed it most.
Best regards, Eric

Feel better, Eric!
Thanks for everything you do to help the Lyme community!
Hang in there with the depression....consider seeing a good psychiatrist if you need to, because I believe life and this illness is a lot easier when the burden of serious depression is at least partially lifted.
Sorry you have been feeling so rough, but good to see you back!

Just stop in from time-to-time to say "Hi" and let us know how you're doing ... OK?

Eric,
You did not see a real LLMD if you only got 2 months' of treatment and are relying on follow-up tests at this point. Lyme cannot be tested follow-up as with other infections.
It just does not work that way, according to LLMDs at past ILADs seminars - on DVD through the LDA link, to the left.
You say you still have symptoms, and I'm sorry to hear that . . . so I hope you can finally see an ILADS-educated LLMD rather than and IDSA doctor who is not up on the treatment or the testing procedures.
CONTROVERSY CONTINUES TO FUEL THE "LYME WAR" -(author's details at link)
Excerpts:
. . .
" . . .To treat Lyme disease for a comparable number of life cycles, treatment would need to last 30 weeks. . . ."
. . .
"...If all cases were detected and treated in the early stages of Lyme disease, the debate over the diagnosis and treatment of late-stage disease would not be an issue, and devastating rheumatologic, neurologic, and cardiac complications could be avoided..."
Just that had some rough times and still kinda going through them, so we shall play it all one day at a time and see what happens.
Again thank you to All.
Best regards, Eric
