mike and i were schedule to go to the credit union dinner tonite which would have been attended by thousands....anybody who belongs to our credit union, so it's not just americans, but hispanics, asians, you name it.

he's been working pretty hard on installing new six panel doors throughout the house, 11 total, with all new hardware, so he's been very busy. plus he just got back from a weekend fishing trip.

so he says "you know, i've been thinking about this flu thing, and i don't think i want to go. there's going to be a ton of people, and i'm not sure i want to expose you with your having lyme, and i'm pretty tired, so let's stay home and order pizza or just go to chili's or something."

we only paid 7 bucks for the tickets, so we're only out a little bit, so no big deal.

so are you going to go to any public events?

Went to the PBR (professional bull riders) BIG show this weekend in the big city here!!

Took my grandson, daughter and her husband.

WOW what a show. I have seen it on TV but NO comparison to the real thing.

they can put lipstick on a pig and make it look GOOD!!!

8 seconds have to be an eternity when hanging on with one hand!! And a couple thousand pounds trying to unseat you!!!

Dont fall for the flu hype,,,its a concern, but a VERY low, concern!! you can make statistics say anything you want, good or bad!!

I am such a homebody by nature, even before Lyme. I am very uncomfortable in crowds or at social gatherings unless it is just my sisters.

But, a pizza at home! Now that is the perfect evening! A plain cheese pizza on thin crust is my favorite. [Cool]

We went 3 minutes away to the Paris Landing Lodge at the State Park.

It was "Crazy Chicken Night!".

It was unusual because I'm going "neuro-lyme" now.

Hubby was thrilled. Everything is Chicken everyway you can imagine. When we we went to pay the bill, the hostess said "Well, do you feel crazy?".

Hubby said "She has Lyme diseas, she's always Crazy!!!!"

We all laughed. Came home tired, but at least for tonight, I'm crazy from Chicken.

It'a been months since we'd been out. I'll take it. Hope your pizza was good. I love it.

Was it "Crazy Pizza"? Have a good night kid. [lol]

Aw Randibear,

How nice of your husband to think of you. [Smile]

I have never liked large public events.

I am not comfortable not being able to move the way I want to.

Hate to feel confined.

I do have my son's kindergarten graduation in May.

Unless the school closes due to swine flu,

I will be there.

Hope you had a piece of pizza for me.

Hugs,

Geneal

This is JUST the post I've been looking for!

In my area of NJ, I've been hearing so many people talking about avoiding large gatherings

after the news reported that areas of Mexico had closed cinemas, restaurants (except for take-out), etc.

People sitting in my dr's office were debating about going to the mall!

I have decided that I don't need any more health issues than what I've got already so home-bodying it is!

Home meals or pizza delivery and watching dvds on the couch!
