Guess what, she is finally feeling a tiny bit better!!
She had a continuous slide downhill during the first 2 months of Doxy, with scary new neuro symptoms every week.
I'm the one who wrote in recently about our adult daughter. I was in despair because she kept getting worse & worse.
We had known to expect this, but still it became too hard for me to manage.
You all were incredible, swarming around me with kindness and advice and kisses. I went to my thread several times every day, soaking up hope and encouragement.
As it turns out, that was about the time she hit bottom. A week later, she finally stabilized.
And the week after that, her intense pain and fatigue eased up just a little bit. What a relief!!
Now she can actually do 2 things in one day, without being overwhelmed by pain & fatigue for days afterward.
A ``thing,'' as you probably know too well, is only a walk around the block, or getting driven to the health food store, or going on the computer for a few minutes.
We are so grateful for this one small step forward!

It is so hard....
When people say it is a marathon and not a sprint,
It takes the brain some time to wrap around it.
I am so glad she is doing better.
Every little bit counts.
Eventually all the little bits add into one big bit.
Happy Mother's Day.
Hugs,
Geneal
