And there should be a bar for lyme singles to meet up at. It won't have any alcohol, but there will be IV stands for two... romantic!

Hey, we had one before on www.lymefriends.com. It was a group. Join up there and start the group again; it was called LymeEHarmony. The site momentarily crashed in Feb and that group never got recreated.

I'd start it but then I'm automatically a member and I don't think my hubby would be too fond of that....

Oh, and there have been some hookups on Lyme Chat, too. In fact a baby will be born in about a month as a result of one of those!!!

At the "Lymie Joint" they could have a "medicine bar" with various herbal remedies as well as antibiotics-- I guess they's need some kind of license, or it'd be a "lymie speakeasy"!

--you might have trouble with the site, though-- I ca't get on it! (they have some kind of deal with computer and software...'magnates'..., it would appear)-- thus I won't be able to change it until I win the lottery or something....even then, I might refuse to join, on principal! Also, some people have reported malware they think originated on myspace. But if you can get it, have a decent anti-virus program, and the page happens to work, you can get a preview of sorts.... (some of you may have heard it already; I've linked it before...)
Also this Friday at 4:30 pm, we ("Blue Cayuga Jazz") are playing for Ithaca Festival on "the commons-the West end of the commons, in Ithaca, NY.
The instrumentation will probably be piano, bass, and sax. We'll play mostly original program, maybe with some Herbie Hancock and Sun-Ra thrown in for "good measure" (4/4, that is..., which is a little rare in my original stuff!)

I love it, how great!!! "Couples that herx together, stay together"!

As far as EHarmony being "real", oh please, they can't possibly be prepared for "Lyme Reality". We need to start a site where you don't have to say what your Lymenet screen name is or other stuff you don't want to tell everyone. (Why I don't like Lymefriends and other sites.)

Hello to Lou B. - What do you say? We can have "Medical Questions", "General Support" and "Hook-ups" LOL!

I love Lymenet, it's so great! LOL! [group hug]

Excellent idea!

When I try to explain to people what's wrong with me (but I don't "look" sick), they get all glassy-eyed and think I'm nuts. It'd be a lot easier to talk to someone who knows what's going on.

p.s. I tried eHarmony a couple of years ago before I knew I had Lyme. They matched me with some really odd people that I immediately blocked! Not that I'm not odd, but I'm not THAT odd! :loco: :loco:
