Hi all.

It's been a rough week here, physically and emotionally.

Where to even start?

Well, kids are sick again--one has bronchitis and one has some unspecified virus (second time in 3 weeks).

They seem to be feeling better, but Wayde still has a fever.

My husband's aunt (82 years old) had heart surgery Friday a week ago.

She seemed to be doing really well, then had a stroke on Monday and developed pneumonia.

She's now on life support and not expected to make it through the weekend.

There are some bad feelings now that her live-in companion should have talked her out of the surgery, and the doctors at this hospital are idiots, etc.

I'm not dealing well with this because this was the same surgery that killed my mom 2 years ago, so this is like reliving that whole ordeal.

And this is just historically a bad week for me.

It was 5 years ago Wednesday that my uncle (dad's brother) died, and 4 years ago Thursday that my dad died, so I've been dealing with that all week.

And of course my Lyme and cos have been kicking my butt all week.

My air hunger is terrible (humidity doesn't help), my vision is weird, and I had a panic attack yesterday.

All I can say at this point is...

AAAAAAAAAAUUUUUUUGGGGGGGHHHHHHH!!!!!!! [dizzy]

starfall, [group hug] [kiss]

so sorry this has been a week reminiscing our loved one's passing, an aunt to be coming up, and sick kids, etc.

hopefully, once you get past memorial weekend and your aunt's upcoming death, things will settle down and your kids will get to be feeling better.

i'm going to attach my line of my online sympathy poems; at the end are 4-6 mother's poems; i don't know if you aunt has kids or not ....

hang in there; your aunt's quality of life is gone now; but when she leaves here on earth, she will know no more pain, suffering, and be in good health FOREVER and joined by family members filled with love to have her there with them all!

Dear Star, it does sound like you've had a rough week. I'm praying for you now that God will comfort you, provide for you, give you strength, and bless you in your time of need.

Isn't it amazing that the God who created the universe cares enough to know each one of us, listens to our prayers, and intervenes on our behalf!

Oh Star..What a week for you. My prayers for you tonight. Think on the following:

God's plan for you is nothing short of a peaceful heart.

If you were a car,God would want control of your engine.

If you were a computer, God would claim the software and the hard drive.

If you were and airplane, He'd take his seat in the cockpit.

But you are a person, so God wants to change your heart.

Tonight, let God drive and try to sleep soundly, in the Palm of His Hand. Peacefully.

Thanks for all the prayers and thoughts.

Still waiting for what may come on my husband's aunt--his companion has her on life support, something I personally am not in favor of.

I think it just prolongs the inevitable.

But anyway...

My older son is doing better, but I don't know what to think about my younger son.

He still has a fever of around 100, still saying his belly hurts, and this morning he threw up.

Otherwise he is acting fine--wants to runaround and play and eat.

I just filled the prescription his doctor wrote for if the fever continued.

I don't know if I should start him on it or not.

When I talked to people at church about it, they all said the stomach bug is going around, but it's only a 24 hour thing.

Wayde has been sick for 5 or 6 days now.

*sigh* I think his being sick is harder on Mommy than on him...

MAKE today the best day of your life.

It is hard to do, but if you try, your troubles will be few.

[Big Grin]

You will be in my prayers.
