For those of you who know Cobweb, she is critically ill in the hospital. She was taken by ambulance yesterday morning to the hospital and admitted to the ICU in severe septic shock.

This originated from a kidney infection which needed further medical treatment.

Because her friends knew she was very ill and then they could not reach her, they spent seven hours tracking her down via police and internet, and finally located her in the ICU at a nearby hospital.

Prayers would be good! If anyone wants more information please go to www.lymefriends.com where donations are being collected and you can get her address for cards.

tracy, would you send me a PM with carol's address please.

i unblocked you to receive the LLMD info you posted about but still have NOT given to any of us who send out llmd info.

would you send me the KIDS & ADULT info you have please? i'll get it out promptly to the rest with lists.
-----------------------------------------------------------------

i hope the money collected will be given to her for her to use as she needs ... meds/bills, etc. vs. FLOWERS.

the money collected could go so much further that way..

thanks for the update tracy on our valuable POET CAROL who used to do the birthday poems to us all until she got so sick; she wrote a monthly poem to used for the entire month.

thanks for the update on carol! i received an email from a member here last night and gave her what i knew at that time.

glad someone checked up on her too; last i ever heard she was very ill and NO home internet going to library only.

Still up and down--not out of the woods, yet, from what I hear.

There was a post in medical but I could not find it this am to make a comment.

I was able to see Carol at the hospital yesterday. She seemed happy to see me and has received cards from some lymies. Thanks for them.

They were doing some tests and she is hooked up to IVs and oxygen. She was smiling and able to talk a bit better than when I talked to her on the phone.

I only stayed a few minutes as I didn't want to tire her and they were going to soon take her for a test.

She seems very disappointed that she wasn't able to finish school this year..lmt

carol has asked for NO MORE CARDS AT THIS TIME. so please honor her request and not send at this time.

cave/janet is 1 of carol's advocates & told hiker of this.

thanks all for understanding! i thought hiker or someone else might post this, but saw nothing so sharing what was sent to me for her other friends on this board! [Smile]
