Hi Gang,I went to the grocery an got a gallon of milk and some other stuff.

I came home and when I opened the truck door a dozen eggs fell out and some broke.

While saving the eggs and carrying everything else in I lost the milk.

I thought I had left it at the store as I have done that a lot.

Three days later I went to wash some clothes and there in the washing machine was the milk ,quite rotten it was.

Maybe part of your brain had plans to churn it? or you had a newfangled approach to cleaning your clothes?

At least it was the milk in the washing machine and not you!

Maddog,

Thank you for making me feel more normal. One day I could not find the OJ in the Fridge

Turns out I had put it away in the the extra-pantry with some bulk dry food that I store.

It was rancid by the time I found it.

Oh well, at least we found it sooner or later. It would have drove me nuts if I never found it, how bout you?

My funniest brain fog moment:

I'd just swung my purse over my shoulder. See, I needed to buy cat litter and groceries. I put my cell phone in my purse and grabbed the grocery list. I started walking to the door.

And I then realized that I wasn't wearing any pants.

Goodness! So many of us have had "head-scratching" moments! [Smile]

Thanks for sharing, all of you. I would write about mine, too, but my memory isn't working. [Wink]

Last week, I put the phone book in the freezer and deli cheese in the dishwasher. [dizzy]

My worst was when I was splitting hamburger into 2 smaller packages. I put one in the fridge for dinner

and the other in a little used drawer. Didn't find it for 2 weeks. Ugh! [shake]

AnnaL - At least you realized BEFORE you went out. [Wink]

Hey, I just noticed that my profile says "Junior Member". I've had too many birthdays to qualify for junior anything. How do I get this changed? I tried to get in my profile but I don't seem to be able to fix this.

Yesterday I was ready to go to the store and I couldn't find the coupons that I had just had in my hand.

I yelled at the kids to go find my coupons, since I was sure one of them had run off with them.

Well, after 15 minutes of fruitless searaching, I found them in my purse.

Oh, and this has NOTHING to do with Lyme, but reading about the milk in the washer made me think of this...

A firend was in the hospital, and her husband was making dinner for the kids one night.

He wanted to quick-thaw some chicken, so...

he put it in the dryer on high heat.

I thought that was hilarious.

I came home from shopping and put a bag of frozen broccoli in the (never used) microwave rather thatn the freezer. After a while the kitchen smelled so terrible. Really terrible. Told my husband that a mouse must have died in the walls. Awful. Son opens microwave and, well..ughhh. Must have been a month of fermentation going on in that bag. [Frown]
