I got an appointment with a local, well-known, ILADS.org approved LLMD. I go see him next Tuesday and he runs all the bloodwork through Igenex. Unfortunately, he doesn't take my insurance, but I'm willing to pay whatever I can to get myself healthy.
I am really happy, though today is probably one of my worst Lymie days to date. Sore throat, severe pain in the bottom of my feet, knees are swollen.

Hi Kristen,
I am happy that you are going to get the help you need.
Many of us pay out of pocket for alot of things also, so I know how you feel.
Read as much as you can from the ILADS site, etc before you go to your appt and take notes when you are there.
There was alot of info that I never would have remembered otherwise.
All the best to you and keep us posted!
