I wrote a new song recently and it's nearly finished. I wanted to share it with the only people in the world who I know would understand it.

I make no excuses for it's poetic imperfections, I'm not a pro and certainly never (probably) will be one.

If you play the guitar you can strum out your own version using some of the chords. Even better you can finish parts of the song or come up with your own rhythm and timing.

How true, how true. I'm getting old, but I'll still take it to the end.

Good job, Metallic! I don't play guitar so I have no clue what it sounds like.

The words are great! Hang in there!

Nice Mike. Captures a lot of feelings that I have as well. Wish that I could hear you play it.

Personally for me, I don't think it will ever end. I just want it to get better.

I am starting to think it never ends too. But have to keep fighting.

I'll try to record it for you all when I can actually sing it without feeling like I'm dying. It's kind of depressing when you just read the lyrics here, but the song itself is actually very pop-fun. Driven with hard rock riffs, acoustic rythmns, and keyboard (at least in my head).

Here is another song I performed, if interested: I'm not very good but I "love" playing, so I do it even if I have trouble.

Special Note, it's a cover of Switchfoot. I didn't write it!
