Please take the time to say a special prayer for my husband and me. I am having a very difficult time right now. I am experiencing severe depression, maybe from HERX, maybe ABX side effect. This has been ongoing for nearly 3 weeks. I have enen had suicidal thoughts. My husband is exhausted and so am I. I worry that our marriage may not survive this. Depression has always been a problem for me anyway, but much more intense now.
Surely if everyone here prays for me, God will help me.
I am going to bed now, as I am exhausted.
Thank you, Jen

Praying for you Sweetie, and your husband. Remember, God sees the end, you don't. Take His hand and hold tight. He will see you through. God bless you.

And also seek the medical/mental health care you need. Make sure your drs. know what is going on.

Jen,
I am also praying for you and your husband.
I agree, please make sure you are getting the psychological counseling/meds that you need to get through the depression.
God will see you through this very hard time.
Big hugs

i'm so sorry you are going thru all of this, but that you are REACHING OUT also.
this is from the ABOVE post on suicide, please look thru there....
Get Help ! If you or someone you know needs emotional help, please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline during a crisis.
You can reach the Lifeline by dialing 1-800-273-TALK (8255) .
they are trained professionals; we are not.
as advised above, please talk to your drs. about this.
hugs/kisses for better hours, days, weeks, months, and years ahead getting into remission.

After help from the medical questions board, I am now positive I am going through my first HERX. I had no idea that could happen after taking only a couple doses of a new med. I thought it was a bad reaction to the med itself. I just don't understand why my LLMD didn't tell me that when I called instead of changing my med. It has now been about 12 days and the HERX symptoms are hanging on. Depression is only part of it. I also have the aching, flu-like feeling, which came a couple days after the depression. I am going to go back on the ABX that started this because I want a HERX (no matter how bad), right?
Thanks, Jen

Jen,
These are two of my most comforting verses.
"Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand." Isaiah 41:10
"Do not be afraid, because I have saved you. I have called you by name and you are mine. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. When you cross rivers, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned, nor will the flames hurt you. This is because I, the Lord, am your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior." Isaiah 43:1-3
I'm a very visual person so when I read these verses I can just picture God holding me in his huge hand and walking with me through all life's difficulties. It is very comforting.

Take care of yourself!

Many thanks to all of you. Because of your prayers and kind words, I am feeling much better.
I felt horrible for about 3 weeks, but today has been a really good day.
My pastor is wonderful and asked the church to pray for me today. I know God will bring me out of this one day and hopefully I will be a better person because of it.
Each of you are in my prayers daily, Jen
