I am living in Germany, and although my German insurance covers a lot, they don't pay everything. And since prescription drug prices here in Germany are "frozen" (a specific medicament has a fixed price in every pharmacy), I am looking for alternatives from abroad.

How can I find a trustworhty online pharmacy in the US?

Now, I see that a *real* trustworthy US online pharmacy like www.cvs.com would only accept US prescriptions and only ship to US addresses (or US military bases overseas). Let's see if I know somebody in Ramstein or Landstuhl: it's not far from here .... [Wink]

Maybe you just tell me where you are ordering your prescription drugs and I will see if they ship to Germany.

Thanks in advance,
Guido

As far as I know, you have to pay a lot of medication for yourself in the US, especially for Lyme. So many people will buy online, or am I wrong .... ? [Roll Eyes]

Please give me a few links and names of online pharmacies. Or would that be advertising and therefore prohibited?

I really need your help: I'm German, I'm brain-fogged, I have no idea about the US and I can't work myself through that net jungle all alone. [Wink]

Best regards,
Guido

Oooookay. That's interesting, for example Azi:
http://www.unitedpharmacies.com/customer/product.php?productid=439

But then again: they obviously ship everything without prescription, and you can't tell where they are or where the stuff is coming from. I dunno ....

Have you tried it for yourself?

Thanks,
Guido

Most stuff people in US get trough prescriptions. It is a lot cheaper if insurance covers it (and it typically covers all orals) . Only reason to buy stuff online is

1) It is not available in US
2) You dont have insurance
3) You dont have doctor willing to prescribe what you want
4) it is cheaper to buy it online then insurance copay (rarely but happens)

You seem to be hell bent on getting "*real* trustworthy" stuff. Yet you want skim around German laws (which I bet do not allow you to buy rx meds without prescription). You cant be too picky if you buying it like that -if you want "100% approved" go to your doctor and get him to prescribe it.

Otherwise don't complain about the source - it is often generic and usually from online sites which have to keep their profile down for obvious reasons.

No, no, no, wait a minute! And please read what I am writing above!! I only want to buy stuff which my doctor prescribes me, and stuff that is allowed to be imported and used in Germany.

And yes: I want to know where my meds come from, and don't want to click around, and then get some generic from India. We already had that .... [Wink]

Best regards & thanks again for your help,
Guido

What about point 5) you have an insurance, but they refuse to cover all of your Lyme therapy??

This is just the point I can't seem to understand: from what I have read here, this case occurs pretty often in the USA.

Ah, and you forgot about part 6 of your "only reason": that is if you can't drive your car anymore or leave the house ....

Hopefully, someone will come along who is using a on line pharmacy that will ship out of the country.

Yes, thank you, kam! [Smile]

I just need a good online pharmacy. If they ship to Germany, I really can ask them by myself. [Wink]

In Canada, it seems easy, for example www.CanadaDrugs.com : they ship everywhere. But the trouble is: I want to have original/brand "Factive" and it has been discontinued in Canada. So I need it from the USA.

So what's wrong here? I mean, here are 16.000+ registered, and nobody ever ordered something online? Not even non-prescription meds??

Still wondering,
Guido
