Yeah!! The Yankees won! It was a great game, and a great series! We deserve it. It's going to be awfully quiet now at night---after the ticker-tape parade, that is.

You NY folk might not believe this, but there was a traffic jam in downtown Boston this morning as the Yankee fans (apparently they all came out from hiding for this one moment) had a celebration in the streets. Right outside AIG too. Hmmm... I wonder if they all came from within.. hehe. Anyway it was quite the sight to behold... and a great reason to get to work late [Big Grin] Even our boss emailed from her car that it would be quite awhile before she'd be to the office.

I'm a Sox fan through and through, but your boys played great this year. Congrats guys! Looking forward to some great games in 2010!

Thank you Shadow.

The rivalry between the Sox and Yanks makes baseball all that much better.

I tried to go to the parade in downtown Manhattan. I couldn't get within a 1/4 mile of Broadway. There were at least a million people there!

The enthusiastic vibe was exciting.

Yeah, the Yankees outed my team (the Angels), so I really didn't care who won.

My dad always said there would never be a Phillies vs. Angels World Series, and even though he's been gone for 4 1/2 years, I'd have loved to prove him wrong.
