So last night I was watching my firend's son and he came running up to me saying..."there is a tick in my belly-button!" Earlier that day he had gone hunting with his dad and grandfather. He had his pants taped to his legs and sleeves taped to his wrists and was covered in deet spray from head to toe...so much for those precations.

The little bugger was definately a deer tick and was determined to hang on. Then I was searching all the other kids (including mine) because they were playing together all afternoon. UGH!!

His Mom is taking him Monday to the dr. for some abx. She looked at me and said "yes I am going to get this taken care of right away." Incidentally this will be the 3rd time he is being treated for lyme. All the same treatment 3 weeks of amoxy...

I am itchy all over just thinking about the tick!
