Im looking for my test results so you and everyone can help me read them. Its it normal to only get RMSF and Erlich and not lyme ? I have had so many of the issues from lyme its just amazing and the bottom of my heals were really hurting today. Is it ever too late I have been dealing with this for 5 months now. Is there still hope of returning to normal ?

It's not too late - you need to see an LLMD for treatment! Do you have an appt with one yet?

Twitching is really common. Mine is starting to go away, but I had non-stop twitching in my calves, and pretty much everywhere else for a long time.

Yamb, you are NOT alone. I remember when I first got sick I could not believe what was happening to me. My PCP did NOT understand the level of pain I was dealing with.
I remember being scared out of my mind, didn't know what was wrong with me. I could hardly explain the symptoms because I could not find the words to explain it.
I recall how horrible I was as I would start awakening in the mornings with the most severe, terrible pain. My entire body was paralyzed with unbearable pain just as I was waking up, it was the scariest thing I have ever been through.
All of us here have suffered so badly, never ever thinking we would get our lives back. We all know your pain for we have had the same pain as yours.
Our hearts go out to you YAMB. You must remember that you are NOT alone, we are here for you. When you are feeling like this you have to come here and know that we are like family here. We are so very concerned for you, believe me.
You said you were "working on it", the answer you gave, above, when Robin asked you if you had an appointment yet with a lyme Doctor. I can help you with finding someone close to you that you can go to for treatment. I have ALL of the States LLMDs and you can PM me and I will help you find a good LLMD that you can go to.
You are going to get better, I know you are, I have NO doubts! I never thought I would ever get better but I have gotten better and so will you.
The most important thing that we have to do right away is find you a good LLMD and I am going to help you. You have a wife and children and it is time for you to get the help you need.
You are going to be fine and I want you to PM me and let's get started!! You must take the first step NOW. You are way too young to go through this. You must try--with every ounce of strength and determination you have in you to find the Doctor that is going to change your life!
We all want you to get better. You have to hold on with all you have so that we can find you some help.
When you're feeling down please always come back here to us.....your lymenet family....we are here for each other....we must hold each other up and give each other the support they need.
YAMB please PM me and we will start the journey....

NO. Usually if you have those two you also have Lyme.
It is NEVER too late!!! I had Lyme for 42 yrs before being correctly diagnosed and treated for Lyme. I am now well and have been off abx for 5 yrs.
I saw the dr in Missouri I believe I mentioned to you in a PM.
Sorry I left you hanging last night.....!!!! I am down with a bad cold and have only been online here and there. Was offline for 2 days.
Remember, the doxy and most other abx will make you feel WORSE before you feel better. Lyme is not for sissies believe me!
Some drs allow you to back off the meds for a day or so if the herxing gets too severe.

I think what you're experiencing isn't at all uncommon.
Even being in treatment for 9 months, I'm still popping up with new symptoms.
Just this morning, after a BM, I started having rectal spasms--had those before, but this time they lasted for almost an hour, and the pain extended up into my lower abdomen.
I thought, oh great, is this going to happen all the time now?
Hang in there, and I hope everything goes well with your wife's surgery and recovery.

Yamb, some of your symptoms very well could be bartonella. Yes another typical bacteria infection carried by ticks.
I know, I remember and will never forget how scared and how ill I was several years ago. Yes, you will get better.
Keep a daily log of all symptoms. All symptoms, whether you've had them for years or just since the tick bite.
A daily log might help a LLMD with his treatment for you.
Take care. Get the wife well. Go ahead and make appt with LLMD now, it will take 3-6 months possibly to get an appt.
Oh yeah, stress will make everything worse. Calm down and realize it's all related to tick bite and help is on the way. Do not even think of death.
Put yourself in the fight mode, not flight.

Herxes I think, hang in there, try to walk a lot, take a hike anything to get the blood flowing.
When Lyme dies they release toxins.
Increased heart rate means faster filtering of the lyme toxins.
That is why at night we get much worse.
Sleep = low heart rate and build up of toxins.
