Hey I've considered starting to take a B-50 Vitamin Complex and a Fish Oil Supplement to help clear some neurological symptoms and aid my adrenals (as suggested by Dr. B's list of supplements) until I am able to see a LLMD in January.

Is this a good idea, or should I wait to see my doc to supplement my diet?

Heck, I'd do it!! I take both of those myself.

One thing the B vitamins do is help your gut stave off yeast which is easy to fall victim to while on abx.

Fish oil is good for your heart and for inflammation. It also helps lower cholesterol.

Hi Jared,
I just saw your post. I don't know anything about the fish oil...i've heard of it and I don't take the Vit B but I personally (just an opinion) don't see where it would hurt you.

I know my Doctor tells me Vit D is very important. U might consider that and at least vit C..

He also has me taking something called Adrenal distress guard, which I have been taking since April.

I get it from his office but you can pprobably get it from a vit store??

Hope this helps and good luck.

Karen (:

Jared,
That sounds good.

You should also read the "Lyme Disease Nutritional Supplements" which you can find here:

Jared,

I think this is a great idea to go ahead and take the supplements Dr B recommended.

I was over-whelmed when I started with my LLMD and had to begin tons of supplements and abx.
