In another thread I noticed people writing about chatting with each other in a chat room. Is there a LymeNet chat room? If so, where is it and can you provide the link?

There is no Lymenet chat room. At one time there was a Saturday night chat.
After some changes were made to that room making it more difficult to access a new room was opened by some of the regular chatters.
It has become the new Lyme Chat, which is technically open 24/7, but people are usually there after 9 or 10 PM EST, nightly.
It is linked to Lyme Friends, but you do not need to be a member there to join in.
Due to some problems in the past year we had to put in a password system. To get a password you need to send an email to [email protected].
In it include the user name you wish to use (could be your user name here, or just your first name) and a password of your own choosing.
This is the chat that Charlie frequented, usually late at night, and has been mentioned in posts about him.
We talk about all kinds of stuff, and often have a good time laughing about non-Lyme related things.
But if you need help, we are there for you, too, as has been mentioned in some of the posts.
If you go in and there is no one else there, wait and you can hear when someone new enters the room.
If you have further questions feel free to PM me here.

Thanks for letting me know. However, I won't be home so I won't be able to make it.
