Not able to even fix something to eat today...

So...going to have a make believe Christmas...

I am in the Ozarks with TuTu having Chili for lunch.

then on to Don's to have a steak for dinner.

Ice skating in Yosemite would be good to as long as it was not crowded.

Or down hill skiing at the ski resort nearby which I can't recall the name now...

Cross county skiing would even be better. We could ski to the cabin they have in the Sierra's and have Christmas there including chopping down a tree and decorating it.

Of course we would let them know ahead of time what things to stock the cabin with food wise.

And I can hear the sound of the fire in the fire place now.

Splitting logs for the fireplace

Cooking on a wood burning stove

A few days of snow and a few days of blue skies...the blue skies while we are skiing of course.

Filling the bird feeder and breaking the ice off of the bird bath.

leaving nuts out for the squirrels

Sitting outdoors with a large bon fire looking up at the stars

listening to the quiet. NO ringing in the ears.

I loved your wonderful images! I am here in sunny California. The temp is 43 so it's chilly. Most of our house is unheated so we have to stay in just a few places.

But I do miss the snow I remember in Penna where I grew up.

We're going to our son's house to see the grandchildren. But my headache will probably win and we'll have to cut it short. What a pain...literally.

I think I'd rather sit by a fire and read a good book.

Sitting by the fire reading a good book came to my mind also after posting my imaginary Christmas.

Reading a novel has been out since lyme and co.

We have freezing rain here today. Yuck.

And I have some weirdo headache thing in my temple, and my stomach feels off.

Oh, how I need a Christmas miracle of healing!

I asked my son last night to ask Jesus to heal me. He told me, "Jesus said no. He's got work to do."

Apparently so, lol.

So glad to have you over for chili, kam!!! We had just enough for you!! We put cheese on top, so it was really good!!

Now, what's for supper??

Starfall and farraday.. hope you are both feeling better soon .. and kam... I do hope you get to eat today, for gosh sakes!!

My cyber Christmas would be a plane ticket to get to Houston tomorrow. We may still have to drive thru Arkansas instead of OK.. not fun... but the roads in OK are still frozen.

Let's see. What's for supper. Enchilada's?

I use to make some pretty good enchilada's. I haven't made them in years.

WE could have avocado dip and chips

Yum. Making myself hungry. But, not hungry enough to do what it takes to get to the store. HA!

Brain and body are just not there.
