Oh Tin, I could cry every moment of every day. I'm not really ready to die. I told myself it was time to prepare, but I feel so angry that I might be departing. How can a person meet their maker in such a state of mind?
I have done the following:
cleocin/quinine malerone/zith/bactrim mepron/zith lariam ALL OF THE ABOVE IN COMBINATION WITH PLAQUENIL
Also: doxy artemsinin in combination with the above list
The problem is that I have a drug reaction to all the anti-malarials now.....drug induced lupus.
That is why I have been investigating a complete blood exchange, but it seems Ihave to be on my death bed to get one, and part of the procedure is to do I.V. cleocin with it, which I cannot take.
Every day I go to bed and wonder how many more days I will have, each on so precious.
My body is so battered. I know all of those on lymenet understand this feeling.
It has been a 7 year battle with babesia. What I have is so virulent and unrelenting.

And Tin, I can't tell what it does for my spirits for you to ask about me. Of my three siblings, only one cares to ask, and I can't tell my parents all the details of my suffering becuase they just can't bear it.
Only lymenet and the good folks like yourself keep me going, and hugging my daughters daily.
Thanks, mary

Tried to watch the video and was confused which one to watch on Youtube. Also got this message on top of the web page:
"This video contains content from Sony Music Entertainment. It is no longer available in your country."
Was it a good video?

Sorry about the video... sure wish you could see it. Must be a utube thing cause it works here. And yes, it is real special.
Now for that Babesia thing....
First off... I have survived 24 years with Babesia (both strains)... and went 15 years with no treatment at all for it. Got treated, did better, then relapsed. Lived with it again another 4 years with no treatment.
So my bet is you aren't going to die from it.
You may feel like it sometimes.. but it seems to me life ain't that kind and rather than you kicking the bucket .. the bucket will take pleasure in kicking you for a good while longer.
I have written to two docs to see if we can figure out something for you to do. It is a rare day I will do that, but you have me stumped... and you deserve some decent answers if there are any.
I have an idea on how to approach this ... but want to check with experts first. And of course they may have better ideas... I hope so!
I would need you to email me so I can respond to you that way if they respond to me. I know I have your email, but the unorganized fool I am... I'll never find it.
If it takes a bit to get back to you... please excuse me. Truck broke down, phone and satellite are out, got a frozen pipe and my freezer quit. Like the saying goes...
"Other than that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?"
So hug those girls and thank the Lord every day you have some precious children to love. You are a lucky lady.

Hi - I didn't see Enula on your list, Mary, so I googled for enula babesia, and clicked on the link about Connie Strasheim's book of 13 Lyme practitioner protocols.
Three chapters are available for reading there. Chapter 5 is Lee Cowden's - you should read it. It's about his herbal approach to treating, including babesia.
Plus I also understand Buhner treats babesia with cryptolepsis.

Somewere i read that a iron molecule is deadly to Babbs.
If an iron molecule gets into a babs cell the babs builds a covering arround it like a clam does to a grain of sand ,which makes a pearl.
The Doug rife maching vibrates the babs pearl inside of the babs ,it explodes and kills the babs.
I don't know if you can find a doug rife machine were you live or not.

Tincup, did you say you have more emails from your doc friend with suggestions.
I'm detoxing as much as possible and looking into more ways to do it.

So sorry to hear of your pain. I am new to all this - a week into the medication. I too take artemisinin 1500mg per day. My Nutropath has me take Smilax Glabra - she said it was to bind to the die iff and help get it out of my body and hopefully decrease herxing. SO far I have been doing okay.
On the label the ingredients states Chinese Sasparilla, 39% grain alcohol and distilled water- it is in a liquid form and I put 60 drops in water three times a day.
The other thing that I think is helping with joint/muscle pain is when another of my doctors looked at my fish oil - he told me the proportion were wrong if my biggest concern was pain and inflamation. Switched me to Metagenix EPA-DHA 6:1 ratio. THis was later confirmed by my Nutropath.
Praying it might be of some help to you.
