I have heard many people say that you don't qualify for disability because of Lyme.
Does anyone have any helpful suggestions about how I can qualify?
I was diagnosed in 2005. I have attempted to keep working but have lost 10 jobs due to neurologic problems that interfere with my speaking and walking off and on.
Some days you cannot tell by looking at me that I am sick at all, and other days I look like a left hemiplegic stroke patient.
I do not want to keep setting myself up for failure, but I do need to provide income to help my husband support our family.
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Keep records. Contact the LOCAL social security office.
It was suggest by a Social Secrurity Disability specialist lawyer "DO NOT fill out forms on-line." If you can do that youy can work.
do a search here for more experiences. the "search" button is upper page under the "post a poll".
good luck
