Work up slowly.
When I first began treatment I had a hard time walking our dog for more than 5 minutes.
I would be sooo sore for the next 2-3 days. Just because I walked the dog for 5 MINUTES!!!
Now I'm working out for an hour doing lifts with dumbells, squats, jumping jacks, etc.
It's a slow but noticeable process.
Just don't overdo it.
Maybe spend 5-10 minutes. Do a lot of stretching and heat pad work. Yoga as well. Work on balance.

i struggled to walk for 4 months...i now run 2 miles every other day....you need to change your thinking and its what gets me into the gym no matter what.."something is better than nothing"...5 mins of walking will turn into six over time and 7 , etc...don't give in...

Thanks for sharing dave - good luck to you also! BTW did you have trouble breathing, or does that just go along with the entire thing. My daughter can't breathe once she gets going...this is what started the entire thing and they thought she had asthma....then vocal cord issues, then acid reflux...
