My mother, age 91, joined my father and OUR Father in heaven on Saturday, February 6th.
I have a very strong faith in everlasting life and know she is happy and has no more pain.
It has been a difficult past few months. Hospitals -> rehab. -> hospitals -> rehab.
We had a small "miracle"...our son was retrieving a twin headboard and frame from our garage attic...and...you guessed it...he slipped off the 2x4 wood. (The attic is not floored - but will be!)
He landed striding a 2x4 truss...guy ouch.
A 2 foot by 4 foot piece of drywall (ceiling) came down when his left foot slipped.
Thank God he only has bruises, muscle pains and did not completely fall thru the ceiling and land on the concrete garage floor.
I will be gone from lymenet for awhile as I settle my mother's estate.
But, I want you all to know, I have not forsaken you and think about you all often.
I will return when I can.
