By way of reminder, I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Epstein Barr Virus, suffering from lyme and 2 confections since the 1970s without knowing what was going on finally diagnosed lyme and confection as of 2006 with clinical and western blots, but back in 2003 had got West Nile too!

Since 2003 each year has been worse, and since 2007 the last time I posted I think, I had given up as every thing I tried either didn't work at all or made me worse, or worked a very short time and would quite,

Some times trying something would yield some seaming benefit, but after a couple weeks, would let me down.

all I ever read on several forums were what I was experiencing, treatments making me worse, and no lasting improvement,

I had given up on getting better, was feeling like I was very close to death, made a will, and directions on how to dispose of my tools, for my wife,

I was less than 10% usable energy, up a few hours each day and too exhausted to do anything, and very depressed. I wanted to do things but every time I tried I feel flat unable to follow thru for lack of energy.

Last summer I was watching PBS saw a special on alternative cancer treatments, one in particular caught my eye, as not only were cancer patients getting help but people with many different health problems were improving, and getting healthy again.

It seemed to simple to work and I almost did not try it, but it had been a while since I had tried anything, and I did not have to spend any large sum of money to try it, one piece of equipment would have cost me apx $250. but I already had it.

Cost of supplies to follow this was under $40 a week and all could be purchased from any Grocery Store, so I decided to give it a try, here's why...

I have been very ill for more than 25 years, for 15 of them I have known this....

a persons immune system can make the difference,

as many know some have tested positive for lyme and are not sick,

some are ill only a few days and then may be ok for 20 years before they get deathly ill,

why the difference?

As long as our immune systems are getting the nutrients they need that feed the immune system, it can fight off viruses and bacterial infections,

people that have weak immune systems get sick.

I have tried many immune building supplements over the years to NO Avail.

this sounded so simple I almost did not try it, but I am glad I did as now 6 months after I started I am doing better, I have gained 30% of my energy back and am functioning a few hours each day with only 2 or 3 days a week where I feel sluggish.

I am waking up feeling rested 2 to 3 days a week, I haven't woke up and felt rested in over 20 years prior to staring this program!

Ok What is it?

Drinking fleshly made Vegetable Juice several times a day. The program I read about said to do it every hour on the hour 12 times a day. 8 oz each time.

I was so ill when I started I could only do it 4 or 5 times a day,

it is very important NOT to store the juice, as the nutrients begin to die within 20 minuets, so juice and drink it down ASAP.

The back bone veggie is the carrot, and any green veggie as green veggie's have some things that carrots do not, but carrots do have 80% of the nutrients needed for life!

The juicer is important as you want one that is easy to clean and that gets the most nutrients out of the veggie,

so you want one that is classified as a "Masticating Juicer" as they release more than 80% of the nutrients and are easy to clean, there are several different companies that make them Avoid the Centrifugal Juicer's as they are difficult to clean only get 30% of the nutrients and half the juice out of the veggie!

The one I have I have had for 15 years, in the past I have juiced for an occasional treat (email me and I can tell you what brand it is if you want to know)

after a few weeks I began to feel better, didn't want to be tied to the juicer, so began juicing only twice a day (quart each time) instead of 8 oz 5 times a day.

I am juicing 2 to 3 #s of carrots 1 or 2 gala or granny apples 2 stocks celery, and when I get up the first juicing I put in a clove of garlic, this makes close to a quart of juice, depending on the quality of the carrots.

I can get a 25# bag of juicing carrots from my grocer for $20. I use a bag every 5 to 6 days. My sister in another state gets organic carrots a 25# bag for $30.

2 to 3 times a week I also add some of following to my juice, broccoli, red leaf Lettice, romain Lettice, asparagus, would be best to do some greens every day if you can.

Again I have been doing this for 6 months and have gained 30% of my energy back, and it is holding, while I am not well I am much better, and while I hope to get even better, if at worst I held at where I am now, I can at least enjoy being alive again!

At first I did not change my diet, but as I began feeling better, I also made some minor changes, I began chewing my food better ( because it releases the nutrients our bodies need) I cut my refined sugars by 50% (they can be poison to the immune system)

I have also lost 20#s.

I would encourage any one to try this and see what it does for you, I hope others may get the results I have!

Juicing is getting concentrated nutrients most of us cannot eat 2 to 3 pounds of veggies at one time, but we can drink a quart of juice within a few minuets!
I will check in from time to time, Later Bruce

Thanks Bruce! I juice, but not as diligently as you have....need to get back to it. There is soooo much truth to what you have posted and the benefits of fresh live nutrients that we get from juicing.

wishing you continued success!

Bottoms up,
Feelfit

I wish I wish I wish I had the discipline to do this. I may have seen the same program-it was very impressive.
It keeps niggling at the back of my mind. I believe it would make a tremendous difference in my life.
Is it okay if I print off your post?
Or should I just google juicing?

JR : Feel free to print it, also google juicing as there is much good info out there.

I had reached rock bottom with my health and metal outlook (as after years with feeling like I was dieing, I just wanted to die and get it over with),

when we are sick enought we will try just about anything (some have even drank there urine to maximize the vitamines from supplements they take, I could not and do not encorage it),

and because juicing veggies seemed too simple I almost did not bother with it, but I am very glad I did try it! I will contiue with juicing the rest of my life, even if I should make a full recovery!

If you try it give it a good go for several weeks and as many times each day as you can do it.

Let us know how you do with it! Later Bruce

PS would also be good to avoid and or cut back on foods that depress the immune system, refined sugars, soda, salt and fried foods.
