I don't know of anyone...but will pray for you,

as you have asked.

Maybe go to Kams post "cyber break from lyme"

Maybe listen to some relaxing music while you toss and turn at night.

Sorry can't help much. (((hugs)))

nomolyme,

It may help if you post on the Medical Board asking for recommendations for a psychiatrst in your area....maybe someone who lives in that area will know someone.

If not, check the yellow pages or with your local hospital for a referral.

I will pray for you.

You can do this. You proved that because you did it before.

You may need a medication to help you cope.

Please know that we all care and we are here for you....fighting just like you are.

I hope you got some real rest today. Your post sounds like you really need it. Are you stressed from lack of sleep or is stress keeping you from sleep?

Rest and sleep is so important to a sick body and mind. I hope you find help soon.

One thing that I have used to help with sleep is a stress relief technique called EFT or MTT.

It is simple and effective and you can do it to yourself. You can check it out at www.mercola.com

Check it out + see how you think / feel about it.

Been there & done that! No, you are not nuts or in need of a psychiatrist - in my humble opinion. Going through this is hard! I don't think you are crazy... It's the illness not your mind.

Have you tried any pain meds? I tried Ambien for a while & it helped but I don't like to take drugs. I don't know why this happens but I try not to get to stressed about it.

I don't "have to" wake up at any time so it's not a huge thing for me. It is distressing at times to only see the AM when you've been up all night...

I'm pretty bad at "sleep hygiene". There are things to do about it but I'm not the best person to ask. I just try to do the best I can with it.

I feel like a zombie when I first wake up... I know the feeling. You are not alone.
