"The House Committee on Judiciary and Civil Jurisprudence will be meeting at 10 a.m. in Room E2.010 in the State Capitol Building. The committee's agenda includes studying the availability of treatment for Lyme disease in Texas. This issue was brought to my attention during the 81st Legislative Session. Wow. Interesting. I haven't heard a thing... but then I'm not in Texas right now.

I know a lady that is suing the state of Texas for lack of treatment for lyme patients. Don't know if this is the same thing. She has lyme and her two kids got it from her.

Hi Ya'll,
Yahoo group in Tx reports something altogether different, namely, a TMB hearing on Dr. W.'s practices re: TBD. Now, this might be something completely different that what's posted here, but given the TMB's rugged stance on this, I find it hard to believe there's a bright spot we didn't know about.
Who knows, maybe?! Anyway, many postings on TX Yahoo late last week and this week about Dr. W. Horrible. Very sad.

Sorry folks, I told you everything I know / read on the Yahoo group. You can join the Yahoo TX Lyme group, but I can't provide a link. Yes, the talk is that Dr. W. is being investigated by TMB.
Not sure if this is also the case, but if I remember right, in TX, an anonymous complaint can be filed against a doc with TMB... (Sounds like an insurance co. to me.)
What on earth is everyone going to do now. Not to mention Dr. W.?! Guess folks will have to drive east to see our next-door neighbor...
BTW - I don't have PM set up. You can send me direct email:

You can't join a state yahoo lyme group unless you are resident of that state. So, someone in TX is going to have to tell us what us going on.

I just saw Dr. W last week and he didn't mention anything going on. I am waiting to be approved for the yahoo group.

Argh, that sucks. He doesn't deserve to be investigated. I wonder what is going to happen
