When is your birthday? I was complaining about the snow piles about a week before mine and my husband told me they would be gone by my birthday.
It worked! (and that's why he doesn't allow me to talk to door to door salesmen--I'll buy anything)
Of course it rained for days and that seemed more effective than the sun for melting. I hope you'll be snow-free soon as long as it doesn't mean you'll be flooded.

I can't image still looking at snow banks. I thought ours would be around forever but thank goodness spring did happen here.
You must be on the other side of the jet stream don? It has taken us into summer like weather. This winter was too long and too snowy.

Let us know when they are gone Don.
I remember a nature walk I went on in the Sierra's.
They said that they get more snow in March than any other month contrary to popular belief.
