I know this has been asked a million times here already. So, I'm sorry for that.
But can you tell me what you think is the absolute BEST tick remover?
I took an adult deer tick off my husband last night with tweezers. It went well and it was still alive after I got it off. It wasn't engorged and it was on him 6 hours most.
Those suckers are hard to get off.
I was trying just to pinch the head area and was afraid I was squeezing the body too.
Is there a fancy gizmo to make it better/safer/easier? I'll buy 100 and give to all my family and friends. -- That's a lot of friends, so I'll give some 2.
Thanks!
Allie

You can keep one in the house, one in your purse, and give plenty of them away. They work great.
You lift the tick and hold until the tick releases. This way, no embedded head in your body ever.

Isn't there a support group somewhere that sells them? I would rather give my business to this group, if anyone knows who they are.

I know 3 people who had deer ticks on them, not engorged, for less than 20 minutes and got lyme&co.
I would recommend, putting the tick in a jar with a damp cotton ball (or else the tick will dry up) and calling IGenex to see if your husband could have gotten something from it (I believe their tick test is much cheaper than other tests). Also call LLMD to start him on abx.
Better safe than sorry.
