I just had a full body thermography scan on tuesday, and I am awaiting the results of it. I have so many serious Lyme complications that I can't imagine nothing showing up.
The full body scan was exhausting though----it took two hours and I have SEVERE coma fatigue and bad neuropathy in my right leg making me unsteady. But I am a Dr. Mercola fan, and that is how I got the idea to have the thermography scan done too.
I doubt that any insurance would pay for it. I paid out of pocket at my appointment.

grandmother, I opted for a breast thermography about 8 months ago in lieu of my usual annual mammogram. I am also a fan of Dr. Mercola but it was my Nat. that recommended the thermogram.
It makes sense to me that it can pick up minute changes way before they become a problem. If any changes were found on my thermagram, I would definitely go for a mammogram as well.
I paid out of pocket for mine as well. It was about $200 as I recall whereas a full body scan was about $500.00. I was told that SOME ins. co. will pay for a portion but not all.
I found it to be way less intrusive than mammography but can see how full body would be tiring for most of us.
Northerner, please let us know how yours went. Sorry it was so long and unpleasant for you. Hope you're feeling better.
