June 16th will be our 25th wedding anniversary..... [woohoo]

I was bit on our honeymoon..... [Roll Eyes]

Your marriage can survive Lyme....
communication, dedication, commitment, understanding, effort....

I just want people to know that it is hard...extremely hard for both spouses....
It's hard to watch my husband live sometimes and it's hard for him to watch me not......

But through out these years of sickness and sadness there have been many blessings and many happy times and even a lot of laughter....

Not sure where our marriage is headed in the next 25years....but for now...today...this month we celebrate our love & commitment to each other.....

Our vows to each other mean more to us now then they did 25years ago...

Thanks for listening...

Congrats!! We just had our 25th last December!! I've had Lyme since before we met, though I had ups and downs until 7 years ago, which is when I only had downs!

Happy Anniversary!!

Isn't YouTube great?

Definitely the vows mean more now for us too. We didn't know how "for worse" it could get.

But, hopefully soon it will be FOR BETTER!!!

I know someone else who was bitten on their honeymoon. ( not me... I was bitten when I was 8 ) I will PM that to you!!

June 16th is our anniversary too!!! It'll be 37 for us.

I feel the way you do... our vows are even more important to us now. We've been through so much together and we love each other even more now than we did 37 yrs ago.

Congratulations on your anniversary.

And, thank you for posting. We're only married three years and it is such a struggle. Feeling very robbed, in a way.

thank you for your message of hope and dedication.

i am getting married in october to my boyfriend of 4 and a half years. i have lyme and he does not. he is my rock, an angel, but sometimes i feel so bad knowing that in some ways i simply cannot "keep up" with him.. it doesn't seem fair to him. and yet he never falters.

congratulations on your 25 years together and may the next 25 be filled with even more healing and laughter! [Smile]
