Lymetoo... Yes, I will say a prayer for your husband.

dekrator... I love yard sales, I think I have been to only one this year. So sorry you are hurting today.

daisy... Love farmers markets, have not gone this year [Frown]
didn't have the energy to can foods plus too hot to heat up house with the whole canning process.
It's about time you slept in and let the birds wake before you.

Thanks guys.. The prayer is working. He is feeling better (has meds now of course) and hopes to be able to play tomorrow.

The only hitch is that it usually hits him at night or early morning... so we won't know until bright and early tomorrow morning if he can make it or not.

( I told my husband that we were lucky he woke up at 6 a.m. with this.. probably would not have caught the dr at the hospital later in the day. I figured he was there checking on patients. )

Daisy,
Explain "fear" Him. I thought I was to run to Him, not fear him? You are confusin me!

As I think of all the wonderful things He has done for me, WOW daily, I can't help but "fear" Him--stand in awe, have great respect--not to mention thank and worship Him!!

Fear is more of a "very healthy respect"... he is mighty and omniscient and we must remember the consequences of our actions always. That involves a bit of fear!

But mostly it is one of bigtime RESPECT.

(Didn't you always fear your dad just a bit when you got fussed at!?) But you still ran to him when you needed him!

Dekrator, Thanks. I love yard sales, can't remember the last time G and I went. Need to do that soon and just pick around and have fun meeting people. Oklahoma has interesting people...let me tell ya folks. [Wink]

What you said, "I wish we could load up some "Goditude" into a crop-dusting airplane and spray it all over everyone!" [lol]

About the Farmers Market-among the stuff bought...local/grass-fed/hormone-antibiotic free steaks, also asparagus. Yummy dinner tonight, it's almost ready.

So sorry your head and neck are hurting but glad you didn't let that stop you from getting out to enjoy your full day of fun planned. [woohoo] Said a prayer for you.

Lymetoo, so glad to see that update on your husband. Yes, you have my prayers!

MDW, canning?! No way. I'm with you on that, seriously, I wouldn't even know where to start canning. I'm not the cook in our family, G does all the cooking, always has.

The birds didn't wake me this morning...I slept sooooo sound!

See you next time everyone.

Isn't it great that we are always in His care...no matter what!!

Thank you Lymetoo.... Makes lots of sense. I am appreciative of the hands reaching out to help me understand and I'm sure God is giving you lots of patience in dealing with a beginner. Learning my ABC's and tying my shoes was a whole lot easier.

Daisy...Sorry if I messed up your Topic "God Thought."
Looking at most of your posts(while attempting to gain some perspective) You have a verse for us to think about for the day, each day. And then I come in here with perpetual guestions

Canning yes, I love canning fresh vegies and peaches.

MDW,

Thanks.

Hope you know I apreciate your inquisitiveness on "God Thought".

I don't think you can ever learn too much.

Lymetoo explained that scripture well. Great job, Lymetoo!

Great scripture today, thanks!!! [Smile]

And, oh boy...that video you posted...well, I'm crying again.

And you are right, I think they did steal those ideas from God Thought! [Big Grin] I heard them here before.

Thanks for saying a prayer for me....appreciate that. [group hug]

It is great to have MDW sharing. Stirs up revival in my own soul.

Yes, more REAL, also with people sharing needs and prayer requests...knowing others care, understand and will pray.

Always good to see you all here. What an encouragement each of you are.

Blessings for a good night's rest and a great week!

Good morning my friends,
I found this verse last night in my book of Psalms:
Psalm 51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.

Prayer before I put my head on the pillow:
God, thank you for accepting me and handling my broken heart with kindness. I am eager to obey and willing to trust you.

I feel healed this morning, and I am going off for the day and feed the animals at the game ranch with the boys.

Have a wonderful day.

Diane

I enjoyed those songs that MDW heard on the radio and that Lymetoo then found and posted...what a blessing both of you are!!!

That one by Amy Grant is really awesome.

So happy that your husband felt well enough to make it to church Lymetoo!

Great prayer, MDW! Thanks for sharing!!

Good afternoon Dekrator,

Where is our Daisy today? Do you think she is testing us today to come up with a scripture on our own?

Well, I will pass that one on to you! [lol]

Hi Friends,

Right after my feet hit the floor this morning, after I took my detox bath and watered my flowers outside (oh, yeah, and talked with my God) [Smile] I have been busy non-stop...not stressed though...so that's good.

I knew you all would be just fine without me. Now I come and check "God Thought" and am so blessed by what I read. [woohoo]

MDW, Psalm 51:17, He really comes through for those who need Him. Whoa, pity the person that doesn't need God. YIKES! Who is like our Lord?! So gentle, kind and caring!!! I like each of those songs you heard last night..beautiful.

Lymetoo, Amy Grant has a very unique voice. I've enjoyed her music through the years. I really like the one, "Thy Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path" (Psalm 119:105).

Below is a link to the Amy Grant song you were talking about MDW, "Better Than a Hallelujah".

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lD_pCr_Xrnc

MDW, sounds like you got a fun day planned.

Well, back to work for me.

Blessings for a great day and evening.

Rhonda

I did have a wonderful time with the animals and the boys today. we go every year. The deer walk the trails with us and want to be fed... pretty neat.
Sounds like you had a "me" day...awesome

Hi MDW,

Psalm 149:4 (New International Version)

For the LORD takes delight in his people;
he crowns the humble with salvation.

I missed daisy too!

I was on the go this afternoon...picked up my grandsons, Deven and Kaden (ages 6 and 3) and brought them to our house for swimming, supper and ball playing.

My husband came home early from work.

Conversation with Kaden, age 3, while holding him in the pool and he is looking at my necklace (a cricifix):

Me: Who is that, Kaden?

Kaden: Jesus!

Me: That's right!

Kaden: We don't make fun of Jesus, right?

Me: That's right, Kaden! We love Jesus. Jesus loves and protects us.

Kaden: He doesn't like mommies and daddies does he?

Me: Yes, Jesus loves everyone!!

Kaden: Oh. Ok.

Please pray for my daughter and son-in-law to open their hearts to Jesus. Please.

It is so important to get out and do the things we enjoy. Glad you could do that with the boys today. Sounds like fun.

Well, it's already Monday NIGHT and past time to start a new "God Thought" thread for the week.

Can't wait to see what the Lord has planned for this week. [Big Grin]
