So somehow I managed to hit my nose(really hard) when I tried to close the freezer door today. Still not quite sure how I did this but i've got a big ugly bruise to remind me it really did happen!

I bump into walls, walk into things, trip and fall over nothing, drop everything all the time. Hitting my nose with the freezer door has been a completely new experience for me.

I just thought you all might get a good laugh out of my stupidity and clumsiness [Smile] Can you believe I used to be graceful?

Ouch ! Lost in Space - or having no idea where my body is in space - has caused some very rude awakenings.

I used to walk through door ways, 3/4 of the way - with a shoulder and arm always getting hit by the door jam - and totally shocked, asking myself how that could have happened.

Indicates inner ear/vestibular dysfunction, very common with lyme.

Your LLMD should be told about your vestibular symptoms, even if you think he knows. Ginger capsules might help your inner ear better guide you in space.

I once dropped my cell phone in the toilet, while talking to my mother! She could hear the plunk, and then the water! I dried it off, yelling for her to hold on, and I could hear her laughing the entire time...she knew just what had happened! Couldn't even hold onto a phone during the peak of my Lyme issues...but at least we all got a good laugh out of it.

OUCH is right... and I have to admit, before I got done reading your post I was laughing. Sorry about that!

Bet that is a pretty site!

I use to tell folks... when they would see all the bruises and bumps I had or watch me run into stuff or trip over nothing...

"I won the Ms. Clutz award 7 years out of 8. That one year I couldn't attend the competition because I had a broken leg from tripping over a dust bunny."

Like Keebler said.. "I used to walk through door ways, 3/4 of the way - with a shoulder and arm always getting hit by the door jam."

Well, same here. I never met a door jam I didn't like. DANG that sure hurt! And ouch on that funny bone! It wasn't funny!!!

You'd THINK if I did it once or twice I would slow down going through the next 100 times and be more careful.... but NOOOOOOO!

Each time I clobbered myself on the door jam THEN I would remember how bad it was!

Hope you don't add to it and get a black eye.

Feel better freezer face!

[lol]
