Hi all, I am just wondering if any Canadians are out there and if you tested positive on the Elisa and then the Western blot here in Canada.
I am confused about my results basically for the Western blot all it says is IgM western blot--REACTIVE
IgG western blot -non reactive.
Is there a way to find out more information like what bands are reactive etc? help please

I am not from Canada.
In the US, usually the bands are listed on the report and it says negative, indeterminite or positive for each band.
You may get more help posting your question on the Medical Questions board if you haven't already done that.
It does seem that you are positive on the IgM though, which can indicate longstanding, chronic but active infection.

I'm out on the west coast and have had two WBs done that showed negative. When I asked to see my results as I wanted to know what if any bands showed positive I was told NO! I have given up trying to get anything from the BC Health Authorities. Like everyone else I can only head down south. Wish you luck.
